The Township Building Department’s duties include:
- issuing permits and certificates of occupancy
- reviewing new construction and renovation plans
- keeping records and agendas for our Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals
We provide services to our residents seeking assistance with home improvement projects, guide our commercial and industrial projects through our Planning Commission process, and assist real property owners and their agents through our Zoning Board of Appeals process.
Our Department also responds to resident complaints about residential blight issues and initiates enforcement actions when warranted.
