Important Information About Your Drinking Water

Availability of Monitoring Data for Unregulated Contaminants for Berlin Charter Township

Our water system has sampled for a series of unregulated contaminants. Unregulated contaminants are those that don’t yet have a drinking water standard set by EPA. The purpose of monitoring for these contaminants is to help EPA decide whether the contaminants should have a standard. As our customers, you have a right to know that these data are available. If you are Interested in examining the results, please contact Jason Dobson at 734-586-2187 ext. 6 or emall jason@berlintwp.net.

This notice is being sent to you by Berlin Charter Township. State Water System ID#: 00635

Date distributed: February 3, 2025

Jason Dobson, Water/Sewer Superintendent stated the following:
“The Township was selected by the federal EPA to monitor additional water quality parameters additional to our normal testing requirements. These parameters were tested quarterly in 2024. All parameters for all four quarters of testing showed up as non-detectable. This means that they cannot be detected in our water supply within the acceptable detection limits. These are the best results that we could have received for these parameters.”
