The Berlin Charter Township Assessor Department is dedicated to the establishment of fair, accurate, and equitable property assessments for township residents and businesses. We are committed to providing accurate property information to the various township departments, property owners, realtors and private appraisers. Additionally this department is responsible for the valuation of all taxable real property
(assessed and taxable) and personal, maintaining records of current ownership, property
characteristics and market data within Berlin Township. Each year, we prepare and submit
reports to the State and County in accordance with Michigan’s General Property Tax Law (MCL 211.1-211.157).
The assessor holds office hours Monday and Tuesday between 7:00am and 5:00pm. if you would like to meet in person.

Each year assessment notices are sent to every property within the Township. If you would like to discuss your property’s Class, Value of Assessment, or Qualified Agricultural Exemption prior to the March Board of Review, please contact me using the information above.
