SPECIAL BOARD MEETING

There will be a special meeting of the Berlin Charter Township Board on April 17, 2025 at 9:00am.

Purpose of Meeting: Assessor Tribunal – 13040 Armstrong Rd-Kvicala

The meeting will take place at the Berlin Charter Township Waste Water Treatment Plant, located at 8000 Swan View Drive, Newport, MI 48166.

Formerly part of Ash Township, Berlin Charter Township became an independent Township in 1867. Its borders include Frenchtown Township on the south and Ash Township on the west. The Huron River forms most of the Township’s northern boundary along with Brownstown Township and the cities of Rockwood and Flat Rock.

As part of the Monroe Metropolitan Area, the township is also within the much larger Metro Detroit region.

The notice will direct you to contact us to make an appointment. Our utility employees have a Township issued ID and will be driving a vehicle with a Township logo. We never send an email to request a meter change out or show up unannounced. Please ask us for our credentials and if you feel the least bit uncomfortable, please call our Water Department at 734 586-2187 x 7 or Supervisor’s office at 734 586-2187 x 1 to verify your appointment.
