Recycling
Residents may use the recycling bin located in the Township Office parking lot. We empty the bin on Mondays and Thursdays.
Acceptable Items
- Plastic bottles (numbers 1-7) including:
– Milk jugs
– Water bottles - Paper including:
– Paper bags without a plastic liner
– Manila folders
– All envelopes
– Shredded paper
– Post-its
– Phonebooks
– Newspaper
– Brochures and magazines - Aluminum cans
- All cardboard (boxes must be broken down and flattened)
- Chipboard, including cereal boxes
Unacceptable Items
NEVER place these items in the recycling bin:
- Plastic Bags
- Soiled Paper
- Styrofoam
- Clothing and Shoes
- Greasy Pizza Boxes
- Tools
- Food Waste including napkins, tissue products, K-cups, paper coffee cups, and lids
- Electronics or batteries
- Toys
- Hazardous Materials
- Foam
- Construction, medical, or yard waste
- Diapers
- Scrap Metal
- Appliances
- Rubbermaid Sheds
